This is What We Call Life!?

It is absolutely right about the Chinese saying that goes "近朱者赤,近墨者黑".

Thanks to my dear friends who dated me out for such a spontaneous outing, of which we ended up with 75% of the misconducts that the Chinese used to describe as "吃喝嫖赌".

Let's see!

9pm - 吃 (Dine) @ Marche, The Curve - Market hawker stalls concept with several food stations and themed dining areas. You need a Food Passport to 'shop' around for food. Was too hungry to snap photos of our food. Overall food was delicious, especially the mushroom crepe, mmmm~ :)

11.30pm - 喝 (Drink) @ SS2 - Continued with 2nd round for few glasses of drinks. Well, we girls ordered for 'safe' drinks too, haha.

2am - 赌 (Gamble) @ SS2 - Here's the tricky part. Our 'unemployed' friend lured us to have games for his money making venture. Well, luck was or perhaps wasn't on his side. He won most games but no $ involved. Haha.

Mahjong! (Thanks for posing, haha!)

My first lesson of Mahjong! I have got a lot of "飛", which was being told that it is very useful. Well, sometimes luck alone might not be sufficient, we just need more - experience, skills and of course, practice! Truly agreeable with the saying goes" 人生的关键不在于拿了一副好牌，而在于打好一副坏牌".

Practice makes perfect, perhaps I shall play more Mahjong. Anyway, thanks to my "猪朋狗友", I'm now one step nearer to bid farewell to the potential disease of Alzheimer. Haha!

Remarks:

• 近朱者赤,近墨者黑 - Turn red while near vermilion and turn black while near ink. One is affected by the environment one is in.
  

• 吃喝嫖赌 - Go dining, wining, whoring and gambling - lead a dissipated life.

• 人生的关键不在于拿了一副好牌，而在于打好一副坏牌 - Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes, playing a poor hand well.

• 猪朋狗友 - Pig friend, dog companion. Friends of bad influences.
